www.bmunjob.ieThe Ballymun Job Centre (BJC) is a community-based co-operative, which provides services to local unemployed people. It is a non-profit making organisation. It delivers services under three main headings: Direct Employment (through the processing of job orders and employer contacts), Training & Development Activities (Jobs Club, Access to training and educational programmes, Career Guidance and assessment development and delivery, preparatory/initial vocational training, special projects for early school leavers and older clients, literacy support, social welfare advice, advice for those with disabilities and/or other issues etc.), Enterprise Support (advice for those wanting to set up a business and supporting small local businesses). Role: Promoter & Co-ordinator: Responsibility for the overall co-ordination of the project and for the actual production and publications of any specified outcomes. BJC will carry out research and development on the vocational guidance assessments and career guidance tools, which will define EGUIDE with reference to what is currently being used with the target population in Ireland and the EU. Appropriate normative data will be produced and published for all the components within EGUIDE. The Job Centre will also produce and publish a manual, which will contain suggestions as to how to deliver these assessments, adapt them and/or suggest new ways of carrying out vocational assessments with this client group. Ballymun Job Centre will act as the monitoring agent for the Dissemination of the Quality Assurance Framework and the guidance tools within an Irish context.

Valorisation activities can be executed by using EQT’s broad network of organisations. Furthermore EQT can address several organisations for testing the battery of Guidance and secure the number of pilots in Germany quite well.EQT staff is very experienced in working in transnational projects. Therefore EQT is very effective in a Leonardo da Vinci project which working language is English and translation of developed products will be necessary Role:EQT will be responsible for identifying the QA practices that currently exist in Germany. With their extensive knowledge of the target groups they will work with the partnership to develop the QA framework, assist in the development of the EGUIDE model of assessments and be responsible for the dissemination and Valorisation of the products and learning in Germany.

www.ctanm.pub.roPOLITEHNICA University of Bucharest (PUB), founded in 1886, is now the largest technical university of Romania, with about 23000 students, 4000 full time staff (1700 full-time faculty and 2300 research staff and auxiliary personnel), 1800 part-time faculty and 900 postgraduate students, preparing doctoral theses in 90 engineering science specialties from 12 faculties. The Center for Advanced Technologies (CTANM) is a research and training unit with financial and functional autonomy inside PUB, acting with close links with the Manufacturing Eng. Dept. and with over 10 other departments from PUB. The CTANM’s funding is mainly realised through research and training contracts, with Romanian or foreign beneficiaries, by national, European or international projects. Through its activity, the Center supports the international cooperation and the European and regional integration programs. CTANM staff is currently involved in the restructuring of the whole university curricula, in relation with the Bologna process, is involved in the managing and Web development of the information system of the Manufacturing Eng. Faculty and is directly defining, in relation with the Continuing Education and Distance Learning Dept., the PUB’s strategy for e-Learning. CTANM staff include former staff of the Romanian National LdV Agency and include also an Academic Manager for an American Corporation, defining the strategy, at national level, for high-school teacher training in data acquisition and automation. ROLE: CTANM will offer their experience in the development of Web based frameworks within which the model of QA EGUIDE will operate.

The objective of the Foundation is to develop support programmes and activities for social sectors that are neglected by private enterprise and for whom public action is insufficient. The Foundation has extensive experience in the following areas of activity, which share an underlying concern for social integration and unemployment: Worker Training and Direct employment, Pedagogy and Economic research. The Foundation seeks to improve the quality of education in the schools and training centres in underprivileged areas of Madrid. Fundacion Tomillo will bring to the project, extensive experience in developing innovative training for unemployed and other disadvantaged groups, and expertise in training and methodologies and pedagogic approaches. Role: Identify The Quality Assurance procedures that currently exist in Spain. Work with the partnership to develop and adapt existing QA procedures in relation to Guidance in initial training. Assist in the design, development and implementation of a web based guidance tool. Assist in the testing of the QA procedures. Translation of the Guidance tools in to Spanish. Validation of tools and QA framework with a small sample of clients. Collection of data following pilot

With their extensive knowledge of both target groups and Quality Assurance and Guidance, they will work with the partnership to develop the QA framework, assist in the development of the EGUIDE model of assessments and be responsible for the dissemination and Valorisation of the products and learning in the UK.
Heves County Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Hungary
www.hkik.huHeves County Chamber of Commerce: The Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry was established 1850 and existed until 1947. In 1988 the Hungarian Chamber of Economy was established. The Heves County Chamber of Commerce and Industry was re-established 1995, by the acceptance of the Chamber-law. Its most important objective is to promote the development and the organization of the economy, to contribute to the safety of business transactions and to the fairness of market attitude, to facilitate the general and common representation of the business units’ interests. The form of the chamber is public corporation, operating on the basis of the self-government principle: membership is voluntary for the business units. The specific duties of the Chamber include, among other things, the development of business activity and commerce, the collection of information related to the economy, providing information, the elaboration of ethical rules for market attitude, the organization of exhibitions and conferences. Vocational trainings, master courses and the related administrative tasks are of high importance, too. Within the scope of this activity Heves County Chamber of Commerce have been carrying out informative, introductory, preparatory courses continuously, for several years. The structure of the chamber consist of 3 sections (Industrial, Commercial, Handicraft) and the sections are divided into departments. The present number of volunteer members is 1200 organisations, including a large number of companies from the construction industry, automotive industry and printing industry. Role: The Heves County Chamber of Commerce will identify what QA practices currently exist in the guidance of disadvantaged job seekers into initial vocational training. It will liase with is members to develop QA practices and pilot EGUIDE with those employed in low skill employment to identify possible progression routes within their organisations. It will be responsible for the dissemination of the learning and products within Hungary.
